2023 Sangiovese
As always, this wine is a co-fermentation of two clones of Sangiovese, Grosso and Piccolo. It comes from this vineyard’s Marcoux plantings in 1994 and 1995. The aromas show some initial reduction. Beyond that are notes of raspberry and flower. The palate is on the lighter side of medium-bodied, bright and juicy. Decant and pair it with food to see it at its best. 14.1% alcohol. Glass stopper. 200 cases produced.
