Our 2018 'Barrel Select' Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Mike's Block of the Red Willow Vineyard and spent 34 months in 100% new French Oak. Ermitage and Ambrosia barrels were used and both featured a medium toast level with oak from the Tronçais forest. A sculptured wine meant to age 15-20 years, yet still features early drinkability. Seductive aromatics with a nose delivery spicy tones of holiday cinnamon and roasted red pepper and are contrasted by floral tones of violet and rose. Flavors of red cassis, black raspberry and anise on the attack, finished with notes of toasted vanilla, cedar and baker's chocolate. Our best of the best. 14.1% ABV. 33 cases produced.
