2018 8 Clones Syrah
Our 2018 '8 Clones' Syrah is as the name implies, a blend of eight different clones of Syrah. A single vineyard wine entirely from the vineyard that planted Washington state's first Syrah vines; Red Willow. Each clone is co-fermented together with a touch of 4% Viognier. This medium ruby-hued effort offers a complex bouquet of blackberry, rosemary flower, black pepper and stone. Made in an elegant, medium bodied style, it has silky tannins and wonderful balance. Drink this ethereal, nuanced Syrah any time over the coming 7 - 8 years. 14.5% ABV. 300 cases produced.
